Surveys at Caltech

The Institutional Research Office administers a variety of surveys to members of the Caltech community, including to students, faculty, staff, postdoctoral scholars, and alumni. In collaboration with campus offices, the Institutional Research Office serves to support the development and administration of survey instruments and to enhance the analysis, interpretation, and dissemination of the survey findings.

At Caltech, the IRO supports the administration of homegrown instruments specific to the Institute as well as those that are part of research efforts involving national organizations or consortia.

Survey Schedule

The Institutional Research Office, in collaboration with campus colleagues and external partners, administers a number of surveys to consistently and systematically understand the experiences and perceptions of members of the Caltech community. Recent survey administrations include:
